TeamLinkt alternative for volleyball: club platform or coach app?
The short answer
TeamLinkt is a platform for clubs and leagues: registration, payments, scheduling, a website and a team app, with a free base plan. For the coach of a volleyball team, Koach is the alternative: schedule, attendance, lineups with rotations and live scoring per player. Koach does not run leagues.
You're looking for a TeamLinkt alternative for your volleyball team. Maybe your club runs registration and the schedule on TeamLinkt, while what you need as a coach is to know who's coming, who plays where and who's scoring. Here's an honest look at what TeamLinkt does well, what a volleyball coach misses in it, and when you're better off sticking with TeamLinkt.
What is TeamLinkt, and what does it do well?
TeamLinkt, made by QuickLinkt Solutions Inc., is software for sports organizations: registration, scheduling, rosters, a website and communication on one platform. According to its pricing page, more than 3,500 sports organizations worldwide use it, across many sports. Volleyball has its own page. Here's what you get according to the volleyball page, the pricing page and the App Store listing (checked in October 2026):
- Registration and payments. Custom registration forms for players, coaches and volunteers, with online payments and installment plans.
- Club-wide scheduling. Full schedules for a club, a division or a tournament, generated automatically, with home and away games and available venues taken into account.
- A free team app. For coaches, parents and players, with the schedule, group chat and private messages, RSVPs, polls, tasks, photos, push notifications and a live score that players and fans see instantly.
- A website. A site for your club or league, with schedules, standings, rosters and news that update automatically.
- Tournaments. Registration, payment, pools or a bracket, and communication for a tournament; according to the pricing page, tournament management is part of the paid Operations add-on.
The base plan, TeamLinkt Core, costs $0. Instead of a subscription, you pay a fee on the payments you collect through TeamLinkt. If you want more, you add an annual add-on: Operations or Revenue for $425 a year, or Full Platform for $795 a year. The team app is free on the App Store and Google Play. It shows ads, which you can remove with an in-app purchase, and the app also offers a paid membership, TeamLinkt Plus. For a club or league that wants everything from registration to final standings in one place, and wants to start for free, that's a strong package.
What does a volleyball coach miss in TeamLinkt?
TeamLinkt is built for the organization, and for every sport at once. According to the App Store listing, the team app can set a lineup and has an in-game scoreboard, and the website talks about live scores, stats and standings. What those stats are for volleyball, it doesn't say: neither the volleyball page nor the store listing mentions rotations, the serving order, the libero or points per player by type. According to the site, the digital game sheets (Game Sheets) come with dedicated templates for football, soccer and hockey; that page doesn't mention a volleyball template. And the App Store lists English as the app's only language. So a good alternative for your volleyball team handles the everyday team admin just as well, and adds what volleyball demands. It should do five things:
- A schedule for practices and matches, with your weekly practice night set up in one go and everything in your players' phone calendars.
- RSVPs for every practice and every match, by players and parents themselves, with attendance that tallies itself.
- A lineup that understands volleyball: 5-1, 4-2 or 6-2, the setter, the libero and all six rotations.
- Live scoring per player: not just the score, but who won the point and how.
- A language choice for everyone, so players and parents who would rather read Spanish, German or Polish can pick it themselves.
How to judge an app like this in general is covered in the checklist for the best volleyball app for coaches.

Try Koach with your volleyball teamKoach as a TeamLinkt alternative: roster, schedule, attendance and live scoring
We make Koach, so read this as the maker's explanation and check it for yourself during the trial. Koach isn't a platform for running a league; it's an app for the volleyball coach and their team. You work in five tabs: Dashboard, Team, Training, Match and Schedule.
Your roster and your schedule
Under Team you set up your roster, with jersey numbers and positions. With Invite players you send every player their own link in a single message, and you invite parents and an assistant coach separately. Under Schedule you plan practices, matches and one-off events. Schedule recurring trainings sets up your weekly practice night in one go, and with Sync calendar you, your players and their parents subscribe your phone calendars to a feed, so everything shows up on its own. Move a match, and your team gets a notification automatically.
Attendance: who's coming?
Players RSVP for each practice and each match, with a reason if they can't make it. For a match, a player can also choose I'm coming to watch: there, but not playing. Players who always come tap Sign up for all sessions or Sign up for all matches once. Parents do it for their child. At practice you mark who was present, late or absent, or you tap All present, and attendance per player adds itself up.
A lineup with rotations
On the Team tab you open the Lineup view. You pick 5-1, 4-2 or 6-2, tap the player who starts in each position and assign your setter and libero. View all 6 rotations shows how your team rotates, and if your libero ends up in the front row or in the serving spot, the app warns you. You take that lineup with you into the match.
Live scoring per player
This is where the biggest difference is. On match day you choose Who scored the point? for every point, and then how: Attack, Block, Serve / Ace or Opponent error. When the opponent scores, you note what went wrong. The serving order sits at the top, you sub with a tap on a player, and with Swap libero automatically the libero goes in and out on their own. Want to focus on coaching? Use Authorize a player to keep score to let a team member score on their own phone. Afterwards, the points and errors per player are ready, including side-out per rotation.
For team communication there are Announcements in three types (an announcement, a poll and a task someone claims with I'll do it), plus push notifications in the iPhone and Android app when the schedule changes. There's no chat. Players and parents get their own free account. What else an app for your whole volleyball team should do is covered in the volleyball team app.

What Koach doesn't do
Koach doesn't run leagues. You can't use it to build schedules for a whole division or a tournament with pools, there's no registration form, and Koach doesn't process payments. There's no website and no chat, and parents or fans can't follow the score live: the live screen is for the coach and whoever you authorize to keep score. After the match you can share the result, with Share match report as an image or with the Match report as text for your team's group chat. Koach also isn't connected to TeamLinkt: you add matches from the TeamLinkt schedule to your Koach schedule yourself.
With the Club plan you do get a club dashboard with all your teams, plus club announcements to every member. Under Contributions you keep track of who owes what, with your own payment link attached; the money itself is handled outside Koach. What Club includes is on the page for clubs.
Who is TeamLinkt for, and who is Koach for?
- Stick with TeamLinkt if you run a club or league that wants registration, payments, schedules, standings and a website in one place, for several sports, and wants to start for free.
- Choose Koach if you're a coach who wants to run your volleyball team: the schedule and attendance, your lineup with rotations and the match point by point, with stats per player afterwards, in the language each player picks.
- Use both side by side if your club keeps TeamLinkt for registration and the league schedule, and you use Koach for your own team. Do expect some double entry when you schedule, because the two aren't connected.

What does Koach cost next to a free TeamLinkt?
To be fair: TeamLinkt Core costs nothing, and Koach costs money once the trial ends. You can try Koach free for 14 days, with no credit card and every feature. After that you choose Coach for €2.99 per month (1 team, 2 coaches) or Club for €9.99 per month (unlimited teams and coaches). On a yearly plan you pay €2.49 or €8.33 per month. In the App Store and on Google Play you see the price in your own currency. Players and parents pay nothing, and Club has no trial: for Club, get in touch through the page for clubs. The prices are on the pricing page, and what each plan includes is explained in what Koach costs.
Test it on one match. Leave the club admin in TeamLinkt, put just your own team in Koach and score one match. Then you'll know whether the stats per player are worth the extra work. How to switch without the hassle is covered in switching to another team app.

Frequently asked questions
Is TeamLinkt free?
Mostly. According to the pricing page, the base plan, TeamLinkt Core, costs $0; the club pays a fee on the payments that come in through TeamLinkt. Add-ons cost $425 or $795 a year. The team app is free, with ads you can remove through an in-app purchase, and with a paid membership, TeamLinkt Plus (checked in October 2026). You can try Koach free for 14 days with no credit card; after that Coach costs €2.99 per month for 1 team and Club €9.99 per month for unlimited teams.
Can Koach run a league or a tournament?
No. Koach doesn't build schedules for a whole league or a tournament with pools, has no registration forms and doesn't process payments. Koach is made for the coach of a volleyball team: schedule, attendance, lineups with rotations and live scoring per player. If you want to run a league, a platform like TeamLinkt is a better fit.
Can parents follow the live score in Koach?
No. The live screen in Koach is for the coach and for a team member you authorize to keep score. Parents and players can't follow along live on their own phones. After the match you share the result with Share match report as an image, or copy the Match report as text for the group chat. TeamLinkt does share the live score with players and fans.
What languages does Koach support?
Koach works in six languages: English, Dutch, German, Spanish, Italian and Polish. Everyone picks the language in their own profile, so a parent can read Spanish while you use English. In the App Store, the TeamLinkt app lists English as its only language (checked in October 2026).
Can I move my team from TeamLinkt to Koach?
Not automatically: Koach isn't connected to TeamLinkt and can't import a roster. You type in your players' names, add jersey numbers and positions later, and send everyone their own link with Invite players. You add practices and matches to the Koach schedule yourself; a weekly practice night takes one go with Schedule recurring trainings. Your club can keep using TeamLinkt for registration.
