Rotation check: test your lineup before the first serve

Every lineup looks fine on paper — until rotation four suddenly has three players in the back row you'd much rather have at the net. The Rotation check shows you that before the match starts: one tap and you see all six rotations, who serves when and which rotation is your weakest.

Where do you find the Rotation check?

While setting up your lineup, fill all six positions and tap the ↻ Rotation check button. Koach automatically cycles your lineup through all six rotations — exactly the way it happens during a match.

Three insights at a glance

At the top are the conclusions you actually want as a coach:

Six cards, six rotations

Below the insights sit all six rotations as cards with a mini court: the front row coloured in, the server marked, and for each rotation a strength score relative to your average. Tap a card and you see the full lineup at that moment — who's front, who's back, who serves.

What do you do with a weak rotation?

Three options, from small to big: start the set in a different rotation (rotate your starting lineup one position), have a substitution ready for exactly that moment, or accept it deliberately — because your best server is behind the line in that same rotation and that's precisely where you win points, say. The point isn't that a weak rotation is forbidden; the point is that you know it.

Good to know: the strength scores are calculated from the attack points you've recorded with live scoring. The more matches you score, the sharper the check gets.
