The place where Koach does its work isn't your desk but the sports hall — which means your phone. Here's how to get the app on your iPhone and set it up for where it all happens: courtside.
Installing and logging in
Install Koach for iOS from the App Store; you log in with the same account as on the web — everything syncs, so you can prepare your lineup on the laptop at home and continue on your phone in the hall. New to Koach? Then walk through the ten-minute setup first — you can do that right on the phone.
Setting up for match day
- Notifications on for practices and matches — the app reminds your team of what's coming.
- A generous screen-lock timeout on match days: a phone that locks every 30 seconds is unworkable during live tracking.
- Battery as match prep: walk in fully charged, power bank in the bag — see also scoring without wifi for the halls where the network stutters.
Handing over the phone
Chances are it won't be you but a bench player or parent doing the tracking (delegating is the advice). The input screens are built for exactly that — big buttons, jersey numbers, one action per rally — so handing over is literal: pass the phone. Never put the phone on the scorer's table. A small piece of match wisdom: a fixed spot in your hand or with your scorekeeper prevents the classic moment where the official scorer mistakes your phone for the official system — and nobody knows anymore which score lives where.

Koach works on any phone via the browser; check the site for the current status of the native apps. Your account and data are the same everywhere.
Does the app work on an iPad?

Does live tracking use a lot of data?
Negligible — it's small updates, not video. A full match day costs you less data than three minutes of social media.
